I’m the founder of Final Wording, a collaborative authoring platform for high-stakes documents where every word matters. If this sounds interesting to you, let’s have a call about how Final Wording can improve your work.
Before that I worked for over 15 years as a freelance full-stack developer, across a variety of fields such as:
- Games, helping Good Games transition from Flash to HTML
- E-commerce, rebuilding the ABOUT YOU mobile apps while the company became a unicorn, improving the rating from 4.2 to 4.8 stars
- Fitness, scaling the MySports app and building studio management software at Magicline
- Developer tooling, upgrading the transport layer, persistence stack, and code generation for Serverpod’s v3
Additionally, I have worked on collaborative tools, online learning environments, sales platforms, and a chatbot for the Arabic market.
I maintain a few widely used open-source projects, including the “Flutter Favorite” sign_in_with_apple.
I approach software development as an architect who implements. In my freelance work I am typically brought in to lead a rewrite, address a scaling problem, or deliver a major new feature. Before writing code, I study the system as a whole to find the best place in the stack to solve each problem. As I propose an approach, refine it with the team, and then implement it, I naturally assume a technical leadership role: not only sharing expertise with colleagues, but also presenting decisions to outside stakeholders. And I don’t walk away after shipping: I closely monitor the production system and user feedback, keep an eye on support channels, and gather input for the next iteration. The result is software that evolves faster, costs less to operate, and holds fewer surprises.
